Our Mission:
The Mission and Philosophy of Toronto Central Animal Clinic is to provide the best possible care to our clients and their pets. With that as our primary goal, clients will want to return to our practice and will allow us to continue to care for their pets. Our standards of care should be that which we would expect and demand for our own pets. Our patients and their owners will receive the very best quality of care and service they deserve.
The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) was founded in 1933, and it is the only association in North America that provides accreditation to companion animal hospitals. To be accredited by AAHA, our hospital must demonstrate an outstanding level of medical care and client service, and be measured against the most rigorous standards in the veterinary industry. Only 15% of animal hospitals in the United States and Canada are AAHA accredited, and we are happy to announce that WE ARE ONE OF THEM!!
We’ve voluntarily chosen to go through the process of becoming accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) because we understand that your pet holds a valued place in your heart and his/her health is important to all of us.
During the accreditation process, we are evaluated on an extensive list of approximately 900 standards that directly correlate to the care we are providing your pet. These standards include: quality of care, diagnostic and pharmacy, management, medical records, and facility. Consultants regularly visit our hospital to ensure compliance with AAHA Standards of Accreditation for services and facilities.
